Well I am still puttering along with my stitching. I am working on this quilt, Prairie Burgoyne, that was a Block of the Month (BOM) from Temecula Quilt Company in 2015. I love the block, Burgoyne Surrounded, and this is the third quilt I have made with this pattern. You can see the many versions of this quilt on my Pinterest page. I think it will be really pretty. The beautiful fabric is a line from Pam Buda at Heartspun Quilts. Pam is amazing! You will love her website!
I made this blue version years ago. It is worn to shreds!
And this is the one I made in the
APQ Quiltalong. I love it! The pattern was in their magazine and designed by "Moda Lissa", aka Lissa Alexander from Moda Fabrics.
So on the subject of APQ Quiltalongs, last year
they had a 4-Patch quiltalong going on and I
jumped into that one as well. Rather than use
the options in the magazine, I came up with my
own plan and went to work. Below is the out-
come. As you well know by now, I love scrap
quilts, and this has bits from all my favorite Civil
War Repro designers. (I can't get rid of that white!)
Now to get a little sewing done!

Love your Burgoyne Surrounded quilts! Especially the scrappy one. I also chose the 4 patch quilt design by Edyta Sitar using bigger measurements so I could pull from my precut scrap bins. I like your double 4 patch. I'm considering many layouts but for now am cutting 2.5 squares into setting triangles and using them as leader-Enders. Glad your sewing machine is back in use :)
I love scraps and the quilts made from or but your Prairie Burgoyne is fabulous!
Well , all three they are!
I love every one of your versions of Burgoyne Surrounded, especially the scrappy version. Thanks for showing your four patch quilt--looks like a good stash buster!
Love it! Love all of them, especially the scrappy ones, you make great fabric choices!
Borgoyne Surrounded is one of my all time favorite patterns. Your three versions are wonderful.
So lovely to see all 3 of your Burgoyne Surrounded quilts! I like all 3 but the 3rd one is my favorite - I can't resist a scrappy quilt made with my favorite fabrics :0) Your new 4 patch quilt looks marvellous!
Oh my, how pretty. Hard to choose a favorite. Thanks "sew" much for sharing the measurements.
They are all gorgeous, but the scrappy one is my favorite, too!
Great setting for the 4-patch quilt. Very unique--makes you want to look deeper! : )
Any thing you make is gorgeous! I love your quilt in the newest edition of Mccall's quilting. That edition is not available here yet, but I will be on the lookout for it.
