BBD CAT ON ROOF

Blackbird Designs has quilts for all seasons! I wanted to share this quilt today while fresh on my mind. This quilt was made by Barb Adams (and her Mom!). This design comes in a special package of its own. Isn't it spectacular! If you can't find this pattern, you can call What's Your Stitch N Stuff here in Virginia Beach, VA (757-523-2711). That is where I took the Blackbird Designs workshop.

Blackbird Designs also has lots of cross stitching and embroidery projects. They are big on samplers, which I love! Check out their website and you will find a few little free sampler patterns that you can download. We all like free!

Love their stuff - all of it! I have all of their books and almost all of their patterns. I have completed on top and have several more in the planning stages - with fabrics set aside. Only limited by the number of available hours in the day, unfortunately!

I am not a huge fan of primitive stuff but this is wonderful and look at the wonderful arched back kitty! I know a lot of you like it and I admire your work just not something I would be likely to make so I'll enjoy it vicariously! I love quilts of any "stripe" generally.

I'm so looking forward to getting into my prim stuff after the first of the year! Thanks for the nudge!

This quilt is such a wonderful blend of piecing and applique. I love black in quilts, but probably would not ever have used it with these colors. It is great!

I love Blackbird Designs work -- I have a couple of books with things I very much want to do, but keep pushing to the back burner *s*

I love this one. It is so beautiful. The "Home sweet home" book is on my wish list for christmas and I hope I have been so kind this year that santa will bring it under the tree.
