ROCKY MOUNTAIN QUILTS--new fabric line

I've been bad. I got an e-mail ad from the Fat Quarter Shop and after seeing Judie Rothermels new line I ordered the fat quarter pack. So many beautiful browns. I have a thing for brown fabric, it seems. I just can't get enough of it. And Judie R. delivers the goods. My friend Joan is just the opposite. No brown for Joanie. It has something to do with that ugly little Brownie uniform she was forced to wear as a child. I had one also, but apparently it didn't leave me in the same state of trauma that it left Joan. She seems to do just fine with her beautiful pastels. I like those too. I wonder if the addiction to brown fabric is connected in any way to the chocolate addiction??? Now that would be sad!
The picture is of a little Log Cabin quilt I did. It is for the wall or table. The borders really gave it a different look. I didn't quite get all the fuzzy design wall cropped out of the picture. Oh well.

This is a wonderful little quilt! I'm with you - I love browns and civil war repro fabrics. Actually, almost all repro fabrics! I'm trying not to buy any more - my stash is overflowing everywhere - but I keep looking at that Rocky Mountain collection at z&s fabrics. So far I've been good - I just hope it lasts.
