"This is us with Jefferson. He was kind enough to pose for a picture, but I felt a little bad because he was in the middle of writing the Declaration of Independence.
I hope that our going into the past and distracting him during such a crucial time in our history didn't disrupt the future."
I took my granddaughter Becky, and friend Lauren to Williamsburg on Monday. I swiped the above from Becky's blog. I couldn't resist, I had to share!

Ha! Hee! That's funny. You're a good Gma for taking the girls out for a joy-trip!
You're the best G'ma in the world, what fun they're having!
what with the beach and the history lessons those girls will never have time to get jobs!
Wait...maybe that's their plan!
oh you thief!
I was actually just thinking about how clever that is.
Great sepia. Jefferson looks happy to have some company.
Such fun - easy to tell that all the girls had a fun day. Williamsburg is on my 'someday' list *s*
That sculpture of TJ is by my employer's brother. Both of the brothers are sculptors. Isn't that a great piece?
That is a great photo!!!! Also, love the post about your mom. Mine has been gone for 16 years, and there is not a day that goes by that I don't miss her! Happy belated Mother's Day to you.
