Remember seeing big pictures of people and thinking that their eyes are following you everywhere? Well imagine my surprise when I walked past the girls while they were looking at their computer screen and see faces looking up at me! The person on the screen smiles and waves. What? Here I am in my nightgown, ready for bed and carrying my shoes, which I gamely wave toward the smiling face on the computer screen. The girls talk to their friends like this every night. And no long distance charges!
The future is here! The one where they talked about actually seeing the person on the phone while you spoke with them. The one where we all thought, "Oh no! Not for me!" I must be the last person on earth without a camera on my computer. But now I think I must have one! I talked to my little granddaughter, the Plumpkin, the other day and I watched her as she sang to me and we laughed and blew kisses.

That will be fun to have those two for the summer! I don't think I'd have the energy to keep up with them, though!
No camera on my computer, either. I'm not ready to join the 'Jetson's' crowd yet.
Love, love, love the quilt on Becky's lap!! You know I've always loved blue, and I am LOVING that quilt!!
Oh what fun to be surrounded by such love. I'm going to wait and see how the pulling of the Marcie into the 21st Century goes before I jump up and down - yippy skippying all the way. I totally know you can do it but, well, I just want to wait and see. I'm just sayin'...
Technology is a wonderful thing, how blessed you are to have your granddaughter and her friend there for the summer, blessings abound! ~Enjoy~
Oh Marcie....they are bringing out the youth in ya! Sounds like alot of young girl giggles and fun to be had this summer. Enjoy these moments!!!
No, you aren't the only one without a camera on their computer. Add me to that number. Does that mean you would have to put on make-up before you turn on the computer?
Love the webcam. The Princess introduced us to it when she was living out of the country. It was the perfect way for us to share holidays with her . . . and get a little peek into where she lived. Glad to see you are joining in on the fun *s*
They are just all smiles. Bet they'll come up with waitressing jobs in a week or so. I love the Russian students we have at my school, but there are only one or two now. The immigration ebbs and flows among countries.
It looks like they have found plenty of time for the computer even if they haven't found the time to update their blogs. Maybe Becky and Lauren should try some fake accents when they go job hunting and see if that helps!
Hi Marcie, I hope that you have a great summer. I checked out your patterns, but did not see the blue and white one that is shown with your granddaughter. My sister would love it! Please tell me what the pattern is?!
Thanks, Sandy
