SECOND SHOT OF QUILT

I decided to try and post a second photo of Lincoln's Platform because, for some reason, no close up comes when you click on the previous picture. I hope I didn't change a setting because I will never find it again! Some of you noticed the circles that appear in the design. That is because I added a few lighter squares in key places. It was quite by accident that the circles appeared, but I like them. I used red for all the corner squares and navy for the center posts in the sashing. As you can see, this photo has the quilt mounted on my design wall. Unfortunately, I cannot get a clear shot in that spot. I moved my sewing machine off the table, etc. I really need to find a good spot for photos! Libby's backyard?

Seeing the sewing room stuff would not be a distraction *s*. I didn't notice the circles before, but now that I do I think they're great.

I just love your lincoln's platform quilt! And your right - the circles are just too cool! I love it!

I found I have problems with the enlargement when you click on a picture if you move the picture in the compose screen. I have better luck if I want to move a picture by using the Edit html tab and cutting and pasting it to where I want. That always works.

It's a beautiful quilt Marcie! I love the way you did the borders - a great personal touch. There's just something about triangles in a border that appeals to me. I didn't notice the circles before but I sure do now. Wonderful!

I really like the circles, but I think I told you that. If I was making this quilt, I would make sure I copy your idea.
I have seen a blog, when I first started, that did the best displays for quilts. I always thought I would try to find the perfect way to display a quilt, but so far I'm still putting things on the floor and taking a picture from a chair. At least yours is hanging up!
