You may have noticed that I changed my blog layout and photo. It still isn't exactly what I would like, but the new format is so much easier to manipulate that I have to fight the temptation to go in and play around. I want to put a quilt background and header on it. It is too far advanced for me at this point. If you happened to stop by last night while I was messing around, you may have noticed that my dad's picture showed up in my profile shot. That was weird. I was attempting to set up another blog for him to use for drafting, since he sometimes gets behind the wheel and loses everything he has written. Google asked if I had an account and I answered "yes". So then our two blogs became intermingled. Apparently I need to answer NO and start from scratch. Yes, I am a basket case--but I keep trying! Anyway folks, it is still me! Have a great weekend!

Your new layout is very nice and easy to read. Like the new photo too.
Your new layout looks good. I think I missed the memo...is there an update to blogger that we should do before putting photos in the header??
I'd like to change my layout too and just haven't taken the time to do it. I don't know how to do any of that either.
It's actually easier that you think, but I don't know the new template stuff. The help menu works great I hear so you might try that out to see how to switch headers.
Your blog looks clean and simple - easy to read. That's my favorite kind. The ones with too much stuff are difficult for visual discrimination.
I liked the pic of your dad! I thought you were just sharing it with us. =)
The graphic for the blue stuff background-ing your title is

When you DO decide to mess around with your template, you'll find it under the header-wrapper style.
:-)
Hi Marcie, good for you for playing around with it! I finally got brave enough, and have had sooo much fun adding pictures and links, etc on my side bar.
I have to say I really, really LOVE your Happy Place quilt. I remember it from before, and having seen how you put your orphan quilts together, realize it's what your 'style' is...and it's marvelous. I love the mostly primary color look, the simple shapes and all in all, it's just so happy and pleasant. I'm so glad you made it, and are sharing it with us daily! Hugs, Finn
