I haven't shared photos of the boys lately. Granddaughter Becky posted exceptional photos today on her blog, so I swiped a couple. I can't wait to get my hands on these babies! Isn't this a cute family photo?
I love this one because they are both smiling at the same time and they always smile with their mouths wide open. They just turned 7 months two weeks ago. They are such happy babies! Just don't ask me which is which.
On another note, I was in the LQS, What's Your Stitch 'N Stuff, the other day and they have a darling kit for sale. It is of the ever popular tumbler blocks, pre-cut with the Accucut Studio Cutter. Very handy, don't you think? It is mostly from the Howard Marcus Quilt Collections for a Cause, I believe. Lovely shades of pink and brown--a personal favorite of mine! Give them a call at 757-523-2711 if you are interested. The quilt will finish at 54" x 72" and sells for $79.99. And it is all pre-cut! Just thought I would share, since it caught my eye.
I am still putting in lots of time at the computer doing so much busy work. I am dying to really spend some quality time in my sewing room. How do I cut the cord to the computer I want to know? When I first got it I never realized that it would take over my life!
Have a happy day!

Bursting with Blessings
I have been sewing! Yes, it is true! One thing I made recently is this little doll quilt. I love it just the way it is, but kind friends have told me that I should actually have a little stitched sampler in the center. Well, OK, so now I need to work that up after Thanksgiving. But in the meantime, here is a peek at my little doll quilt--not yet quilted, as you can see.
On other news, my pregnant granddaughter, who I pictured in a post recently, is having twins! Twin boys, in fact! We have never had twins in our family, so we are all aflutter over this. Let's just say that Becky is bursting at the seams with this exciting news!
Thanksgiving is once again upon us, so today, like most women in America, I am cooking! I am presently working on cinnamon rolls. They are rising on the counter in the kitchen. I think I can manage the rest of the meal tomorrow, but it is nice to get a start on the rolls. Two of my kids have already called for recipes, so food is on their mind as well. If they lived closer recipes wouldn't be crossing their minds, they would just come here. But alas, they are spread across the county, as I have lamented in the past. Nevertheless, blessings abound, and I am grateful to have a big wonderful family, even tho they are not nearby. The internet certainly contributes to keeping us close. Last Sunday I watched one year old Isaac climb all over the furniture as we visited on Skype. Every so often he would stop and wave to me. What a joy!
Good wishes go out to you as well, where ever you may be. Enjoy the season and count your blessings. They are everywhere!

A GAGGLE PERHAPS?
I am back, tho not so much "in action" as I would like. Once again I finished up my trip with a flu bug. Fortunately it didn't hit me until after the wedding. Unfortunately I was in Arizona at my son's house and never left the house the whole week I was there. Now I am home trying to generate some enthusiasm for anything! I seem to be very fond of my bed, but even that has grown old.

When I became weakened to the point of not being able to sew any longer, I went into the yard and lay prone before the Arizona Sun God, praying for deliverance. Then back into the house for a Diet Coke and that was as good as it got. Seriously, I am not that sick, just tired and have that old nagging cough that lasts forever.
Today is my last day of taking it easy. I am catching up on my blog and then will catch up on my TV shows that are recorded on my DVD. Tomorrow I WILL get moving!
