NAME THAT QUILT

Yay! I finally finished this quilt top! I added a checkered border on the top and bottom, giving it a little more length. It now measures 68 inches by 87 inches.
So here is what I need to know: Do you REALLY want me to name this quilt Fudge Factor? I originally was thinking more like Dream Catcher. The blocks remind me of those dream catcher things, you know? So I guess I will have to take a vote. Please take note of the polling place on the side bar.
Now if I can get a back put together I can send this off to the quilter. Writing the directions is a whole nuther problem. Not my favorite thing to do.
I have to say though, after all my discussion about fudging, this quilt came together very nicely. Accurate cutting and sewing is definitely the answer. It pays off with good results!
Don't forget to vote!

I originally liked Fudge Factor but Dream Catcher is such a sweet name for a quilt you sleep under! Can't wait to see this one quilted up!

I voted for other, but Dream Catcher sounds better to me than fudge factor. The quilt kinda reminds me of the ferris wheel at the fair grounds personally :D Fair play? LOL OKay, never named a quilt myself so I wish you luck!!

Hello Marcie!

I voted. I did not choose either name. Both just didn't seem to fit. I am thinking of another name and I will let you know when it comes to me.

Until next time, enjoy your weekend!

I voted other, too. I'm not crazy about either name for this one. They just don't fit. I kinda like Linda's ferris wheel idea.

I love it Marcie, you really do make the most beautiful quilts. Dream Catcher is a beautiful name, and such a gorgeous quilt deserves a fine name.

I´ve voted too...this quilt will always have the the "workname" Fudge Factor with it... so I voted for that one... and for me not having English as my language...I think Fudge is wonderful...mmmm yummy... :o)

I voted and I like the second name for the same reason as you and quilt hollow, It's alovely quilt, you did so good!

It will be interesting to see what you actually name the quilt. It certainly is an interesting quilt. I like it very much.
I also agree that writing pattern directions is not a lot of fun. You have to be so careful that the measurements are typed in correctly and that the piecing instructions make sense.

Oh girl - to me the blocks look like bits of nutty candy, lined up in a Candy box - ... Fudge Factor for me ... or could I just be hungry at the moment? 8-))

Hi, Marcie, Quilt Hollow has it, what a nice name for a quilt that you sleep under. The quilt is so pretty, even more so with the checkered border.

I love Dream Catcher. Also the border along the top is darling and I see you used the brown for sashing even though I voted for the blue stripe. It looks great!
