BROKEN DISHES MEDALLION

I have been working on my little broken dishes projects. I made two square ones for gifts and the little doll size is for ME! I hand quilted that one. The side borders on both are from the new Jo Morton fabric line. It is awesome fabric and really gives an old fashioned look. I feel good to have those two gifts done before Thanksgiving. After Thanksgiving the time just flies. I have a few more gifts to make. Notice how I jump around between projects? Is there a quilter out there who doesn't have ADD?
Tonight I have a lecture to attend given by the gals from Blackbird Designs. Tomorrow is their all day class. I am excited. It is at our LQS, What's Your Stitch 'n Stuff. I will report back in a few days!

Marcie, those are adorable!! And to think you have them made, what? 2 weeks before Thanksgiving? You go, girl! :) Aren't you the lucky dog getting to have an all day class with Barb and Alma. Have fun for all of us...we'll be thinking about you. :D

It is good to jump around between projects--especially if it keeps it from feeling like labor and interest up. I don't want to be cured!

I think ADD is a requirement when you become a quilter LOL. The quilts are just adorable and you've inspired me to make one too :-)

I love that setting for those small applique blocks. I don't typically make wallhangings but I love small one block medallion sets like this one.

Love the broken dishes as a frame for the bird. I saw that line of fabrics last weekend, and it is wonderful!
