Bloglovin and More

I guess I am joining the throngs of bloggers moving over to Bloglovin, so I am hereby claiming my blog!!! Not sure what that means, but since they tell us to do it, I'm doing it. This is the second time I have had to move my blog list to another program. Each time I am disappointed and maybe a little less involved than before. Guess we shall see what this one does for us. I have to say that I am surprised that Google eliminated their program, but oh well.

I have all these little quilty things around that I need to finish. This one is a doll quilt for my granddaughter, Ellie. Maybe you remember her baby quilt that was published in McCalls a while back? They called it Teaberry Stars, and included it as a free online pattern in a bed size quilt.
I added the border to this doll quilt today and now I need to get it quilted for her and maybe find a dolly too.

Here I am making progress on my wool sampler. I am excited to see this coming to life!

I just saw that Lisa Bongean (of Primitive Gatherings) has a new fabric line out of little flowers and also pastels. Blow me over! Last time I spoke to her she told me "I like dark quilts", which we can believe because she is Primitive Gatherings! The new line is darling and I can't wait to see what Lisa does with it! Follow the link and check it out!

Happy summer friends!

Am I the only one who has not seen any change on Blogger? Mine is the same as it has always been.
Just love your doll quilt - so cute!

Cute little doll quilt--and I love the PG sampler.
Wow--who knew she would come out with these pretty little prints. I love dark quilts, too--which may explain why I love Lisa's stuff--but these prints look like they will be very fun to play with!

I'm like you when it comes to moving my blog list *blah* I have found that I like Feedly for blog reading by phone. Bloglovin for computer reading, though I have troubles leaving comments

The doll quilt is so sweet! Blow me over is right! That is a different line for her. I love the greens and pinks - I will have to stock up when it comes out!!

Such sweet, sweet quilts! I'm not bloglovin' nor am I 'feedly' much of a loss or an improvement with the feed services. I did join the 'Old Blogger' because its a bit closer to what I'm used to..but I really just use my gadget lists and follower connections to keep up with all of you! FYI..bloglovin' and 'feedly' tell you to do this and that so as to self promote..them, not you. In our blogger link lists..all we see is all about them, not your words like we did before you all joined them. Interesting advertising don't you think ;)

Hi Marcie - I have really enjoyed looking around at your quilts - I knew I would as soon as I saw your header picture! You seem to use colours and patterns that speak of the past and that appeals to me. Thanks for sharing. xCathy
