JOY QUILTLET

Already it is getting late in the season to start Christmas gifts. However, I have had a couple requests for instructions for making the little Joy Quiltlet. It is a simple project to complete, especially if you just want to make one or two. So, I have posted the instructions on my web page: www.patchalotpatterns.com Enjoy!

I just followed your link to your web page--nice! I have a question regarding labels. I have also used the freezer paper ironed to the back of fabric. However, when I washed the quilt, the writing on the label disappeared. I see that you indicate on your web page that if you heat set the label with the iron, the ink will remain. Does this work with all inks? How long do you heat set? With steam?

Thanks so much, Marcie, for the Christmas "gift"! :D I think there's still time to get a few of these done for Christmas gifts. Hope your Holidays are full of joy!
